Fortum Charge & Drive is the leading Charge Point operator in Norway, which is the only mass-market globally, in terms of EV penetration. The Charge & Drive network extends across Norway, Sweden and Finland and includes over 3000 public chargers.
The 182,000 registered customers are able to utilize the most extensive provision of rapid chargers by any Charge Point Operator in Europe (except Tesla) and the scale of the operation can be seen through the 250,000 paid transactions on a monthly basis.
Charge & Drive is inviting selected companies a first-hand experience of the Norwegian EV market and to see how the Fortum Charge & Drive service works in practice. The event is lunch-to-lunch and focuses on providing learnings and insights from early mass-market EV charging, as well as best practices for operating a growing network of charge points.
On day one, we are honoured to be hosted by his excellency Mr Mikael Antell, Finnish Ambassador to Norway at the Ambassador’s residence, Embassy of Finland, Thomas Heftyes gate 1, 0264 Oslo.
Fortum Charge & Drive will be represented by Michael Warner, SaaS Business Manager and the International team, as well as Ole Gudbrann Hempel, Head of Public Charging, Norway and Morgan Lind, Head of Operational Excellence.
Attendees are like-minded EV professionals from selected companies across Europe. We encourage an open minded approach and questions both for our experts and also amongst the group.
Registration will be open on July 19th. Due to popular demand, please limit the attendees from each organization to a maximum of 2 persons.
The EV Safari will start at 10.45 from the Ambassador’s residence, where we will share Fortum’s perspective on the critical factors for operating a growing charging network in an early mass market. It is our pleasure to invite you for lunch at the Residence, before we embark on a visit to charging stations in and around Oslo city.
We will have dinner at 19.30 at the Jarmann Gastropub, Stranden 1, 0250 Oslo. Dinner is optional for everyone and self-financed.
On the second day we will start at 08.30 at Hafslund Ström offices, with a presentation focused on Operational Excellence and a Charge & Drive Management Cloud System Demo, as well as face to face meetings.
Map: Hafslund Ström offices, 2nd Floor, Drammensveien 147A., 0277 Oslo, located 5 minutes walk from Skøyen train station.
Please wear suitable comfortable clothing, as we will be visiting various outdoor locations. There shouldn’t be any snow, but a raincoat is advisable!
We strongly recommend that you reserve your hotel rooms as soon as possible to avoid last minute price hikes and select a hotel in a fairly central location. We also advise that you travel from Oslo Gardermoen airport to the city using the Airport train (22 minutes) as the journey by car is at least 45 minutes and can be expensive by taxi.
All sites that we will be visiting are in operation and therefore please pay attention to moving vehicles at all times.
Due to the popularity of these events, we ask that you restrict your attendance to 2 people per company. This event is by invitation-only. Please register each attendee individually. A detailed agenda will later be sent by email to registered participants.
